Whatsminer M60 Series Overview

Below are the two Whatminer M60 models we will be covering:

These are only two of the ASIC miners in the Whatsminer M60 series, but we anticipate that they will be some of the most popular given that air-cooled models have greater market penetration and are lower maintenance. The Whatsminer M60 series also includes a 170 TH/s M60S; hydro-cooled models M63 (334 TH/s), M63 (336 TH/s), M63S (360 TH/s), and M63S (390 TH/s); and immersion models M66 (240 TH/s), M66 (289 TH/s), M66S (270 TH/s), and M66S (298 TH/s).

Whatsminer M60 Hashrate

The Whatsminer M60 series features MicroBT’s highest hashrate rating to-date. The air-cooled model features an impressive hashrate of 162 TH/s, while the Whatsminer M60S features an even higher 186 TH/s. It’s worth noting that the Whatsminer M60 has models with hashrate ratings that range from 156-172 TH/s and the Whatsminer M60S has hashrate ratings that range from 170-186 TH/s

Whatsminer M60 Efficiency

Whatsminer M60 Profitability

Now that we’ve addressed the specs, let’s dive into the Whatsminer M60’s profitability of both the M60 and M60S. For our calculations, we used a standard electricity cost of $0.06/kWh, and for hashrate revenue we used the value of Hashprice as of November 3rd ($71.5)

Whatsminer M60 (162 TH/s) Profitability

  • Daily Earnings: $11.59 (revenue) - $4.47 (electricity cost) = $7.12 (profit)
  • Monthly Earnings: $352.49 (revenue) - $135.96 (electricity cost) = $216.54 (profit)
  • Annual Earnings: $4,229.92 (revenue) - $1,631.46 (electricity cost) = $2,598.46 (profit)
